  2. don’t pass judgment.
  3. forge their own paths.
  4. are generous. They don’t hold back because they’re not afraid you’ll outshine them.
  5. treat everyone with respect. Why? Because they believe they’re no better than anyone else.
  6. aren’t motivated by material things. They’re happiness comes from within.
  7. are trustworthy. If they say or do something it’s because they believe in it.
  8. are thick-skinned. They don’t treat criticism, critique or confrontation as a personal attack.
  9. put away their phones. Genuine people focus all their energy on conversation or meeting.
  10. aren’t driven by ego. They don’t seek the limelight because they don’t need admiration to feel good about themselves.
  11. aren’t hypocrites. They practice what they preach.
  12. don’t brag. People who boast or brag are insecure and believe that if they don’t they won’t get noticed.
