Culture is not what we talk about. It’s how we behave.
- Our Code (Core Values): represents the things we live and lead by. Our Code is our true north; fundamental beliefs that drive our behavior. See Our DNA.
- Our G’s (Sustaining Attributes): to sustain over the long haul in the challenging environment that we’re in, you have to have these attributes. Ru Tampa is a “great place to work/serve but not an easy place to work/serve.”
- Our Passion (Aligning Values): are the things you’re passionate about the things we’re passionate about?
Our G’s: what matters most to us
A Rū Teammate is a servant leader who not only embodies our vision, mission, and code but is also.
- Godly: spiritually-disciplined, openly-repentant, Jesus-centered, & God glorifying; “are you prompted and prayerful?” More on Godly traits.
- Genuine: authentic, sincere, humble, & have integrity; “are you trustworthy?” More on Genuine traits.
- Generous: ready to give above and beyond; “Are you giving?” More on Generous traits.
- Grit: perseverance and passion. “Will you get it done?” More on Grit traits.
- Gusto: Infective passion, fun to follow; “Are you likable?” More on Gusto traits.

Our Commitment: what it means to be “all in”
- If I’m all in, serving is always an honor and rarely feels like a sacrifice (Mk 10:43-45).
- If I'm all in, I chase impact. If not, I seek convenience (Lk 9:62).
- If I'm all in, I'm rooted here. If not, I'm planning to replant (Ps 1:3).
- If I’m all in, my personal strengths are leveraged to push our purpose forward (1 Cor 12:4-7).
- If I’m all in, nothing I do is ‘not my job’. If not, I’m only here to do what I’m here to do (1 Cor 10:31).
- If I’m all in, the requirement is my starting point. If not, I'm here to do the bare minimum (Matt 5:31).
